Black Belt Nights (BBN)- El Centro with Kyoshi is mandatory all 3rd, 2nd, 1st Kyu and Dan ranked Shorinkan Dojo Members. Regardless of age. Failure to attend BBN may lead to a delay in your testing for the next rank. If you have questions or concerns, please address them to Sensei

Special Notice

Attendance at Shorinkan Cal South Camp, yearly in November is highly encouraged for all Kyu and mandatory for upper Kyu and Dan ranked students. If you only support one Shorinkan event a year, this is the one that you should make every attempt at participating in. The lessons, the camaraderie and the experience will be a motivating factor in your martial arts career for years to come.

Shorinkan Holiday Schedule:

Testing~ The Dojo is closed as scheduled for testing- no regular classes
Halloween~ The Dojo is closed on October 31
Veterans Day~ The Dojo is closed November 11
Thanksgiving~ The Dojo is closed the week of Thanksgiving
Christmas~ December 23 through January 3
Shorinkan Events- The Dojo is closed for Shorinkan events such as Camp and El Centro Seminars with Kyoshi
