Shorinkan Karate Academy IS a Black Belt School!
We have organized and planned our curriculum for the development of Black Belts in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate and Okinawan Kobudo (Traditional Okinawan Weaponry.)
Shorinkan Karate Academy places emphasis on tradition, loyalty, self-discipline, integrity, respect, self-confidence and self-defense.
The foundation of Shorinkan Karate is set forth by the President of the Okinawan Shorin-Ryu ShorinKan Karate-do Kyokai Hanshi JuDan Shugoro Nakazato.
Our Black Belt Instructors combined, provide over 40 years of teaching experience and are dedicated to the daily achievement of excellence in their own training and personal development.
Shorinkan Karate Academy is dedicated to achieving it's dojo goals:
- To enhance our community and its residents through positive growth and development of our students.
- To provide a safe environment with positive energy and support of our students' mental, physical and spiritual growth.
- To provide guidance, support and inspiration through personal example of Black Belt behavior, in and out of the dojo.
- To ensure longevity and growth of our school and staff by continuing the training of our instructors.
We invite you to visit us, either here on the web or in person. Our dojo is open to all, and we welcome visitors and those interested learning more about Shorin-Ryu, Shorinkan Karate and Okinawan Kobudo.
